The database, standardised as to content, structure and format, issued for use with Inland ECDIS. The Inland ENC complies with the IHO standards S-57 and S-52, enhanced by the the additions and clarifications of this standard for Inland ECDIS. Synonyms: INLAND ENCA database resulting from the transformation of the Inland ENC by Inland ECDIS for appropriate use, updates to the inland ENC by appropriate means and other data added by the skipper. It is this database that is actually accessed by the Inland ECDIS for display generation and other navigational functions.
